We have had ice then snow then ice then freezing rain then snow flurries then more snow. So as all this melts I seen an icicle out side D'Artanyan's room (He has a name for his room now...it's name is "Jack"???) and this thing is HUGE, like 3 or 3 1/2 feet long.
Icicle before removal.

Icicle before removal.
D'Artantan wondering what an icicle might taste like....and the pain from the sun reflecting off the snow and ice.
...and now the 3 other pics.
I accumulated 3 objects from my bother David over the years and I wounder if he remembers them or anything about their history...let's see if he has any comments.
Pic. #1
A cup with rubber band.
A plate.

WOW... I totally forgot about Snake! I vaguely remember the rubber band and sorta the cup it is around. I think that came from the University of Missouri... probably a cup I got from Doug and I had a rubber band around it that I simply never removed. So it just became a permanent symbolic item on the cup.
Can't remember much about Mrs. Snake, other than I think I got her at a garage sale, of some sorts. I remember there used to be a "Snake" comic.
The plate... well... you got me on that one.
You're going to have to fill in the details and see if I remember those. ;)
You're right, the cup is from the university. The rubber band is on there because you told me you never had one when you needed one, but you always had your coffee with you. Every time I would come to visit that was the cup you would give me coffee in and when you quit you gave it to me as a souvenir. The plate was out of a set you had when you lived here. When you moved to Texas you rented a u-haul and it was too heavy to be pulled by the mustang. You stopped by my place and unloaded some stuff, including that set of dishes. That plate is the last one alive, all the others have broken over the years. Mrs. Snake, don't know how I got it, just know it was yours. I've kept it cause you never know when a snake with huge jugs will come in handy. Meg isn't jealous. I've had all these objects for 3 moves and well over a decade. They are just a bit sentimental to me.
