Cleaning out the pipes

I decided to do some cleaning today.

I started with the coffee pot, used straight vinegar. I ran 2 full pots thought to get the lime buildup out, we have very,very hard water here, so I have to do this almost every month or two.(OK,OK Meg does)

Then I took the sink faucet apart to clean out the screens, if I don't do this every six mouths the water sprays everywhere but the sink.

I poured Drano down all the drains in the house.
So it was hot vinegar then Drano followed by more hot vinegar and later hot water.

Then this guy stopped right in front of are place as I was mixing and pouring all these chemicals down all our drains, then he pulled to the other side of are driveway and just sat there.

I was getting very worried, I mean was I doing something wrong? Do plumbers have some kind of secret society or police, were they coming for me? !!!
Well he left after about 15 minutes but seemed like an hour to me, not to mention a mental break down.
