Back to the Future

Good news and bad news about one of my favorite trilogy's.
Back to the Future is now ending(as far as rides go)and just getting started(as far as promo stuff goes)but its been a great ride starting back in 1985...

This would be just way to cool, but it comes with a hefty price tag.
this is some info I got off the net and sorry about the bad appearance of the pics but like I said I got them off the net and there were just thumb nails...heres the info.

Appearance fees begin at $1,000.00, with the number of days and distance from South Carolina used to estimate final costs. To bring the award-winning BTTF.com DeLorean Time Machine to your upcoming event (in North America only).

The sad news is that the BTTF ride in Orlando will now end, heres what I read...

After a number of rumored closure dates have come and gone, Universal Orlando has finally decided to call it quits and made it official: March 30, 2007 will be the very last day that Back to the Future...The Ride will be open for time travel.

Now for some really great news.
You can now have a FLUX-CAPACITOR.

Starting in Sep. 2007 Diamond Select Toys will offer a full-sized prop replica of the Flux-capacitor...it's been officially-licensed by BTTF collectibles and prop replicas.

ST. Patrick's day

Are you wearing your green?

If not then somebody needs to pinch you!

Meg's got her green on and so doses Audrey(hers is on her diaper so use your imagination.)

I caught D'artanyan coming in the door...thought I had him.
I said "wears your GREEN and...

BAM!!! I've been severed

Age old question

D'Artanyan asked me the big question today...

He was in the refrigerator and I caught him opening and closing it very, very slowly, I knew instantly what he was doing but said nothing.
Then Dar asked me "Dad does the light stay on or shut off when you close the door?"

IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION THEN READ NO FURTHER!!!

I said to him "well buddy I don't know...but I know one way we can find out." So I took out the old trusty digital camera, turned off the flash, set it for a time delay of 12 seconds, turned it on and closed the door. About 15 seconds later Dar said "dad, I think it's done." So we took the camera out and I flipped to the pic of the inside of the fridge. He said to me "well, I guess the light does go off." Below is the photo that I showed him of the inside.

Well there you go.

Then I opened the fridge and showed Dar a button to push, when he pushed it the light went off and I also showed him how when you shut the door on the fridge it depresses that button and that makes the light turn off.

Oh...maybe I should have just left it a mystery?

Bad eye's

Last week I went for an eye exam.

Things for me just haven't looked right or should I say felt right for many, many years. I knew I needed to get them looked at. What I found out was that I had 15/20 vision (thats better then normal) but I also have astigmatism . An astigmatism is where your eyes are shaped more like a football rather than a basketball and that causes the eye to let in too much light causing all the problems that I've had with my eyesight. With my new glasses it should fix things.

By the way don't get your eyes dilated if you have my condition because you're in for a hard painful 4 to 5 hours ahead of you.

Pay close attention to my pupils

Before dilation notice they are rather large even with light shining at them.

After dilation

Now imagine you have my problem with to much light coming into your eyes causing them to be sensitive to light, then get them dilated.... even on an over cast day like we had, it's like looking directly at the sun at high noon!
ooouch my eyes hurt and I cant see!!!
